Design for me is the creation of interpersonal interaction and the creation of business value. I enjoy facing challenges with my rich knowledge in design, marketing, strategy, consulting and technology. My intrinsic motivation to understand new topics and my lack of shyness when faced with challenges is one of my strengths. I grow with my tasks and my open, transparent and clear way of communicating works.
Since 2005, I’ve gained valuable experience at different stages of my professional journey, enhancing my skills and work approach. I prioritize a consulting and design-oriented mindset to collaboratively develop unique solutions. The combination of my diverse skills consistently brings immense value to tasks and challenges, with each discipline contributing to a strong and valuable solution. I embrace lifelong learning, constantly immersing myself in new design topics to expand my portfolio and be well-prepared for future tasks.

In my work experience so far, I have learned that continuous development is crucial for a successful career. It is important to always take on new challenges and to continuously train staying up to date.
A holistic approach to problem solving is also essential. It is necessary not only to look at the immediate problem, but also to consider the long-term implications and possible alternatives. A comprehensive analysis of the situation and careful planning are therefore essential to achieve successful solutions.
In my previous assignments, I have been able to successfully apply these principles and thus contribute to positive results. I am convinced that this approach will continue to be the key to success in the future.
Samdock is a CRM and sales automation tool. We build a sales operating system for small and medium-sized sales teams to make daily sales work simpler, easier and more fun. Sales processes are made as efficient and transparent as possible.
For the PIER 7 Group, marketing is an extended arm of sales. Therefore, my focus was to use the resources of the department strategically in order to address the target group in the best possible way. The development of a strategy and planning of the measures was a central part of my work.
My task was to implement and evaluate the feasibility of the IT projects, which resulted in a major change process for the company. My task here was to help build and empower the digital sales channel.
The PIER 7 Food Group is a company that operates in the food wholesale sector. It distributes high-quality specialities with different focuses. My task was to sharpen the communicative orientation of the company in order to position it better on the market.
I supported the marketing department as a designer and the management as a consultant in the implementation of the corporate strategy.
The BDG was founded in 1919 is the first German professional association in the field of communication design. We develop the profession and represent the interests of communication designers at various institutions. The tasks here are very diverse and range from hosting future workshops to industry surveys. The results are then discussed with the various political bodies and published.
As a lecturer at BAW, I provided the students* with theoretical knowledge to develop creative approaches to solutions. The goal was to support them in bringing their concepts into a visual form of representation. For this purpose, the basics were created and the approaches of their term papers were discussed and debated. My teaching method is based on two components: firstly, the teaching of theory and secondly, the exchange and sharing of experiences. The 4-5 days in the semester were designed in such a way that the exchange was in the foreground, because I think that creativity and the understanding for it does not come from books. It has to be experienced and lived.
After BAW, I wanted to apply my newly acquired knowledge to projects. I was able to offer my clients the combination of consulting and design from a single source, which in my view is a gain for any company. Already during my apprenticeship I could convince the first customers of me and my concept and so I succeeded in starting my self-employment with a variety of different projects. I really enjoy advising customers and creating new things with them.
Projektil is a small full-service advertising agency based in the south of Munich. The 10-person team looks after many small and medium-sized companies as well as some large international software brands. During my time there, I looked after many large clients and implemented a variety of corporate design projects.
My time at PACT was characterised by pitches and nationwide campaigns. My tasks were to support the individual teams in the various pitch phases and to implement and develop ideas for client projects.
At Bayer & Borgolte I found exactly what I was looking for after my studies, a small agency where I could develop and get to know every aspect of a project. From client meetings to selling ad placements, I got to experience everything there. Together with the art director, I implemented many exciting campaigns and projects.

I was given a solid foundation in design, marketing, strategy and concept, which gave me a holistic view of the communication issues of a company. This broad spectrum of skills and knowledge has given me great added value in various areas. Furthermore, I can use design in a holistic way, which helps me to solve problems creatively and to develop innovative solutions.
IDEO U is an online platform from IDEO that provides interactive courses and resources for learning and applying design thinking. Design Thinking is a user-centered approach to solving complex problems based on creativity and collaboration. It enables people to empathically grasp complex challenges, incorporate multiple perspectives, generate ideas, create prototypes, and test them iteratively. IDEO U supports this creative and iterative mindset to develop and design innovative solutions that are tailored to the real needs and desires of users.
Business Design is a strategic approach that uses design thinking principles and methods to develop innovative business models and solutions. IDEO U offers comprehensive courses and resources to help executives and entrepreneurs integrate business design into their organizations. The focus is on collaborative working, identifying customer needs, and creating user-centered solutions. By applying business design, organizations can increase innovation and gain competitive advantage by responding to their customers’ needs and developing unique products and services.
At Exin, you learn about the Agile Mindset and the two central roles of Scrum, as well as their tasks and responsibilities. The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing customer value through the product. The Scrum Master, on the other hand, is responsible for ensuring compliance with the processes, principles and practices.
The Scrum Foundation is a baseline that teaches the fundamentals of the agile Scrum framework. It includes Scrum roles, artifacts and events, such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment, as well as the various Scrum events. With a solid understanding in Scrum, teams can work agilely and successfully execute complex projects.

ITIL provides a structured approach for organizations to manage their IT services throughout their lifecycle, from strategy and design to transition, operation and improvement. It promotes a customer-centric approach, emphasizes the importance of aligning IT with business needs, and encourages organizations to create a culture of continuous improvement. ITIL is widely recognized and used by organizations around the world as a best practice framework for IT service management.
The DBS has given me the opportunity as a career changer to sort and deepen my expertise. The education lives through the many experts of dotSource and external specialists, with this concentrated expertise they create a perfect mix of theory and practice. Especially the intensive work on our individual business case has helped me enormously. Now I have the chance to accompany an e-commerce project from strategy to implementation.
Every lecturer at this academy brought all their practical experience into the lessons. This allowed me to benefit from this expertise and deepen what I learned in numerous practical projects. At BAW, I experienced a comprehensive education in the field of marketing. This has had a lasting effect on my way of working and understanding my profession.
This intensive training was about getting to know all disciplines of a creative agency. Feico Derschow developed the program in cooperation with many of Munich’s major advertising and creative agencies. The goal was to cover the main topics that are neglected in the normal agency day.
During this course I could renew and deepen my knowledge in web programming. The course offered a good insight into the state of the art and awakened in me the desire for this subject.
The training at the IFOG Academy in Munich has been very practical for more than 20 years. The projects and subjects covered all relevant topics and were taught by experienced lecturers. During this comprehensive training, one was provided with the necessary basic knowledge to be able to work safely and successfully in the professional field.
I am driven by curiosity and the search for improvement.
Lifelong learning and intrinsic motivation are essential in my work experience. Through constant development and personal motivation, I can continuously improve myself. Challenges in my job are important because they create curiosity and allow me to reach my full potential. I set higher goals for myself to challenge myself and grow. These two themes are closely related and reinforce each other.
It is important for me to view my career as a continuous journey of learning and growing, using my intrinsic motivation as the driving force to achieve my goals.
